The goal of mosquitobrains.org is to create an online atlas using only free and open source software. Below are links to the software that we have used to generate the Aedes aegypti brain atlas, as well as useful tools for viewing the data.

This software was used to segment the mosquito brain and generate a 3D reconstruction.

This is a python code that can be used to warp mosquito brains onto the standard reference brain that we have generated.

This software is used to visualize and work with the 3D reconstructions once they have been generated in ITK SNAP.
